Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat Blanc de Noirs 2011
Cuvée Blanc de Noirs 2011 is the hallmark of Philipponnat's style.
Vintage 2011 is characterized by contrasts and offers a very fine vintage.
This cuvée represented the ultimate demonstration of Philipponnat's mastery in blending and vinification methods.
Exclusively sourced from Premiers and Grands Crus, this 100% Pinot Noir is elaborated using a traditional vinification method with an Extra-Brut dosage (4,25 g/l) to maintain the balance between freshness and vinosity and to ensure the presence of the wine's spirit and purity.
Bubbles are fine, the nose is fresh and refined, while the palate offers freshness, minerality and vinosity.
This cuvée has been raised for 5 to 7 years to obtain a greater complexity and to highlight the second and third aromas.
This cuvée is a real delight when served with foie gras and poultry. You can choose to keep this champagne in your cellar for an additional 5 years.
