Regarding the Champagne Philipponnat 1522 Rosé 2014
Champagne 1522 1er Cru Rosé 2014 is a very great rosé champagne that highlights the spicy and fruity character of the Ay terroir.
This cuvée is elaborated from 82% Pinot Noir, 17% Chardonnay completed by 8% of Pinot Noir vinified in wood barrel, without malolactic fermentation in order to preserve its freshness and to offer a greater complexity.
The bubbles are of great finesse. The nose is very expressive and intense, with notes of orange, almond paste and red fruits. The mouth is fresh and fruity, with notes of black cherries and citrus. The elegant finish is mineral.
The exceptional quality of this champagne allows a low sugar dosage alike an Extra-Brut (4,25g/l). The disgorgement date is written on each bottle.
Following 8 years of raising in cellar, this refined and delicate cuvée can be stored for at least 10 years.
Champagne 1522 Premier cru Rosé 2014 is delicious with lamb, seafood and especially crustaceans, and with strawberry and raspberry desserts.
