Champagne Brut 2006 from Maison Napoléon is composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir.
After more than 10 years of aging, we discover a champagne with a golden robe with a fresh nose, with aromas of spices, dried fruits and exotic fruits complemented by a mineral hint. The palate, also fresh, is balanced. The attack is frank and straightforward with tangy citrus nuances and spicy aromas.
The finish has got a good length. This fresh and complex champagne gives us a saline finish. It will accompany divinely grilled lobster in butter, or a fillet of sole with citrus fruits.
