Cuvée Brut 6 ans d’âge (6 years old) from MUMM is a limited edition, of which the Cellar Master decided to extend the maturation length. Indeed, according to the legislation, a champagne must have spent a minimum of 15 months in the cellar. At MUMM, Brut champagnes are usually aged for 30 months, thus illustrating the quality of their champagnes.

But it is only after a 6 years stay in the cellar that the wine reaches its maturity peak, thus revealing all the richness and aromatic complexity.
The blend is mainly elaborated from Pinot Noir (giving to the wine its volume, vinosity and roundness), then the Chardonnay brings a touch of liveliness.

This results in a superb balance combining freshness and unctuosity.
Mumm 6 ans d’âge took all its time to develop aromas : yellow fruits jam, pastries notes. The wines used for the dosage have spent 8 months in barrels, bringing to the finish of touch of vanilla and roasting.
