This 100% Chardonnay, Brut Nature from Maison Lombard is incredibly fine!
This cuvée is part of the “Terroir” range, a plot and mono-cru selection in Brut Nature. This champagne spends four to five years in the cellar, which effectively allows a beautiful expression of the terroir. From the soils of Mesnil-sur-Oger with chalk and flint soils, Chardonnays are tense, and marked by a minerality on an aromatic lime. On the nose, it is an explosion of freshness and minerality with touches of almonds, pears and Granny Smith. The palate is lively and very pure. It lets express all the mineral and saline potential of its terroir.

Champagne Lombard
Maison LOMBARD is a family estate located in Epernay and created in 1925, with a very Burgundian vision of Champagne. The vineyard is in organic conversion, on the Montagne de Reims Ouest. The cuvées are mono-crus and parcel, produced exclusively from Premier and Grand Cru. All the champagnes are Brut Nature or Extra-Brut, to reveal the identities and expressions of each place with great authenticity.
The family, independent House wishes to express its values in the development of its wines to offer us atypical champagnes representative of their terroirs. A very nice discovery!
