Concernant le Champagne Lombard Extra Brut Premier Cru
This Champagne Extra Brut Premier Cru from Maison Lombard is part of the Signature range. Result of a blend of 30% Pinot noir, 30% Meunier from the sandy clay soils of the Montagne de Reims West and 40% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, it has remained 36 to 48 months on slats for a long aging in the cellars of the House located 11 meters underground.
Here is a very low dose champagne (4g /l) with a good balance between tension and aromatic richness. The nose is delicate on white flowers and yellow stone fruits (apricots, peaches, yellow plums). The palate is immediately very fresh, and reveals minerality and slightly toasted citrus fruits. The bubbles are finely elegant.
It is a beautiful expression of the House's style, a champagne for all occasions, all times. You can enjoy this Extra Brut Premier Cru as an aperitif, but it will also be excellent with oysters and seafood.
