Cuvée la Croisette 2015 from Maison Leclerc-Briant is a superb 2015 Blanc de Blancs champagne which is elaborated without sugar dosage, thus allowing the full expression of this great champagne.
It is sourced from a single plot of the village of Cumières, which is unique from its soil and planting. It has been selected for the extraordinary quality of the grape, and has been given this name from this peculiarity.
This 100% Chardonnay Brut nature champagne was raised and vinified in cask for 9 months in order to develop aromas.
Bubbles are fine and energetic. The nose is fresh, rich and unveils mineral and pepper notes. The palate is sharp and fresh, with a creamy and melted effervescence. The substance is fruity and mineral.
This lively champagne is clearly a gastronomic cuvée. It is delicious with caviar, a fish curry, a foie gras poultry or a goat cheese with honey.

Maison Leclerc Briant is a family business founded in 1872 in Cumières. Bought in 2012 by a couple of passionate Americans, the Maison Leclerc Briant offers us singular and high quality vintages.
Vinified with respect for nature since the 1940s, this 10-hectare estate, essentially Premier Cru, is naturally certified organic and Biodynamic. Pioneer in organic wine making, the House is also a pioneer in parcel selections since the 1980s and offers us champagnes disgorged after a long period of ageing in the cellar and low dosage to let the cuvées express themselves to the maximum.
