Regarding the Champagne Larmandier-bernier Vieille Vigne du Levant 2009 Grand Cru Extra-Brut
Champagne Vieille Vigne du Levant 2009 Grand Cru Extra-Brut from Maison LARMANDIER-BERNIER is elaborated from very old Cramant vines, planted on an exceptional terroir which is located in the little village of « Bourron du Levant ». The deep roots and vine’s diversity directly contribute to the complexity of this champagne.
Grown in order to reach a perfect maturity, this single-cru champagne is aged for 5 years before being manually disgorged 6 months before its released on the market. Vintage 2009 has a very low dosage (2g/l), and is characterized by a rich, creamy, mineral and powerful structure… leading to a very long finale, hallmark of a great terroir.
This champagne is perfect for the aperitif, or with a poultry with mushrooms. It requires a few minutes to unveil its full potential, therefore it must be opened prior to tasting. Should you keep it in your cellar, it will increase its depth.
