Regarding the Champagne Lanson Le Green Bio Organic
For the very first time in its history, Maison Lanson introduces an organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic cuvée (certified Ecocert).
It is a single-plot, single-cru champagne. The plot’s deep soils are mainly composed of clay, which is particulary interesting for a biodynamic production. The blend is composed of 50% Pinot Noir, 20% chardonnay and 30% Meunier, and completed by reserve wines.
Each grape variety is vinified in small tanks, and benifits from a 3 years old aging period. The result is a fresh and mineral champagne, offering an elegant and rich nose with aromas of yellow and exotic fruits, with zesty lemon notes. It balances over fine evanescent bubbles and a slightly spicy and tannic finish.
Le Green Bio Organic from Maison Lanson is a superb champagne for the aperitif, as well as with oysters, or more elaborate dishes based on fish, or a grilled meat. This cuvée is « Green » from every side of it !
Bottles are lighter than usual and the label is made from recycled paper !
