Regarding the Champagne Konrat Collection IV
Cuvée Collection III from Maison Konrat is the hallmark champagne of the Maison.
Brut without year, it is composed of 3 iconic grape varieties of Champagne in ascending order: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from a single village, Montigny-sous-Châtillon.
Each of these grape varieties are vinified separately, according to the lunar calendar and then aged on lees in oak barrels, vats, Dame Jeanne and amphorae. The very fine bubbles add a delicate touch to the palate. The nose is soft, with notes of citrus, peach and almond. The palate is full-bodied and fresh, blending nuts and yellow fruit with a touch of salinity and minerality.
Cuvée Collection is full of delicacy and very rare : only around 4000 bottles were produced ! Champagne Collection III from Maison Konrat is delicious with sea dishes, such as turbot with truffles, or cheeses such as Comté, Coulommier or Maroilles.
You can enjoy this cuvée immediately for its primary aromas, or store it in you cellar up to 8 years in order to discover more complex aromas.

excellent champagne belle prise de mousse, bulle tres fine, arômes floraux tres subtils avec des notes de fruits jaunes. Attazque en bouche franche, bel équilibre entre gras et acidité, fin de bouche toute en fraïcheur et en longueur. Un champagne à deguster en apéritifi tout comme avec un plat , hommard, langouste, noix de St Jacques crmées, poularde à la truffe . L'oiginalité en plus avec un passage en amphore Bravo

Champagne Konrat
In Montigny-sous-Châtillon, in the Marne, Faustine and Marc Konrat give birth to gastronomic champagnes of a great precision, on a 7 hectares vineyard. As a passionate winegrower, Marc carries out a plot selection of its grapes certified « Haute Valeur Environnementale » (High Environmental Value) and is on the way to be certified « Organic farming » in the forthcoming years.
The vinification process is undertaken according to the moon calendar in oak casks, tanks and Dame Jeanne, and more recently, in amphorae. Each cuvée benefits from a long raising period in cellars. Marc is convinced that a great wine can only be created from the sanctification of Nature and excellence at each stage of the making process.
The production is 100% French and 99% local, from the vine to the dressing of the bottle. Konrat champagnes are conceived as true “collection champagnes”, fine, elegant and confidential (approximately 5,000 bottles per year).
