Regarding the Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 748 gift box
Maison Jacquesson's Cuvée 748 comes from the 2020 harvest, a grape variety with excellent ripeness and magnificent balance. A very fine Extra-Brut Champagne (2g/l), it is made from 55% Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers and Champillon terroirs and 45% Avize and Oiry.
One of the numbered "700" cuvées, recognized for their finesse, purity and incredible ageing potential. It is a blend of mainly Chardonnay, with Meunier, Pinot Noir and 24% reserve wines (from cuvées 747 to 743 and 741). The nose offers notes of citrus fruit and brioche. Its bubbles are extremely fine and airy. The palate is very elegant, with notes of white fruit and a hint of wood and minerality. A fine, complex, taut champagne profile.
This 748 is a great champagne, which you can enjoy as a chic aperitif, with shellfish, poultry or a tasty sheep's milk tomme. It's a wine that unites all the Domaine's parcels and is offered for two different aging periods, with the second disgorgement taking place 5 years later for a second release under the name Cuvée 700 Dégorgement Tardif.
Cuvée 748, a particularly fine and elegant wine, comes in a gift box.
