JACQUESSON's 746 cuvée jeroboam, THE great classic of this House, from the 2018 harvest, is produced in only 398 copies!
The 2018 harvest is an abundant harvest, with a beautiful maturity and moderate acidity. Beautiful Extra-Brut champagne (0.75g/l), it is made from 68% of the terroirs of Aÿ, Dizy and Hautvillers and 32% of those of Avize and Oiry.
One of the "700" numbered vintages, famous for their finesse, purity and incredible ageing potential. Result of a blend of Chardonnay at 43%, Meunier at 30% and Pinot Noir at 27%, the nose unveils notes of citrus fruits, and brioche. Its bubble is of a great finesse, and air. The mouth is very elegant, on white fruits, with a slightly woody and mineral touch. A fine, complex and tense champagne profile.
A very great champagne that this 746, that you can enjoy as a chic aperitif, with shellfish, poultry, or a tasty sheep's cheese. It is a wine that unites all the parcels of the Domaine and that is proposed to two different ageings, the second disgorgement taking place 5 years later for a Cuvée best knowed as Cuvée 700 Dégorgement Tardif.
