Regarding the Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 744 Jéroboam
Cuvée 744 from Maison Jacquesson is elaborated from the 2016 harvest, an exceptional year.
It is 55% sourced from the terroirs of Aÿ, Dizy and Hautvilliers, and 45% from Avize and Oiry. One of the « 700 » numbered cuvées, famous for their fineness, pureness and incredible aging potential.
This cuvée is the result of a blend composed of 43% Chardonnay, 30% Meunier and 27% Pinot Noir. Just 300 jerobams are available !
The nose unveils citrus and brioche notes, bubbles are extremely fine and arial. The palate is elegant and develops white fruits flavors, with a slightly woody and mineral touch.
A fine, complex and tense champagne. Champagne 744 is a Great champagne to be enjoyed for the aperitif, with seashells or a poultry, or even with a goat cheese.
This wine unifies every plot of the vineyard, and is available with two different ages, the second being disgorged 5 years later and best knowned as Cuvée 700 Dégorgement Tardif.
