Regarding the Champagne Drappier Millésime Exception 2017
Millesime Exception 2017 from Maison Drappier perfectly mirrors this remarkable year. Sourced from sustainable farming, with very few sulfur, this champagne comes from 66 % of Pinot Noir and 34% of Chardonnay. 100% of the wines are aged in wood, which brings more complexity to this cuvée.
After 4 years of ageing on lees, this cuvée offers us a complex and rich nose of citrus and hazelnut aromas. On the palate, the Chardonnay brings a touch of vanilla and the Pinot Noir brings depth and vinosity with red fruit aromas.
Ideal as an aperitif, it will also be very pleasant with a grilled sea bass, a risotto or a blanquette of veal.
