Regarding the Champagne Drappier Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2015
Grown mainly on the Jurassic limestone of the Côte des Bars, the Chardonnay of this Blanc de blancs Grand Cru 2015 cuvée from the Maison Drappier expresses itself on a beautiful minerality.
This Blanc de Blancs is made with the magnificent 2015 harvest of Mesnil-sur-Oger, classified Grand Cru, with a low sugar dosage of 4g/l.
After 5 years of aging in the cellar, the champagne is lively and of a formidable purity in fruits, floral and a mineral touch. It is a very well balanced cuvée with a remarkable length. There are subtle aromas of brioche and candied citrus and green apple on the nose, while the mouth is crisp and powerful. The finish is long and complex, with lightly toasted notes.
An elegant and gastronomic champagne that offers us an ideal accompaniment to the aperitif. It is also superb at the table with white meat, shellfish, smoked salmon with citrus fruits, or tagliatelle with scallops!

This family business prefers authenticity and uses very little sulfur. It has also created a sulphur-free cuvée: the Cuvée Brut Nature without sulphite.
