Regarding the Champagne Devaux D Rosé
This Cuvée D Rosé is a rosé champagne based on the Cuvée Brut D of the Maison Devaux, made from a rigorous selection of 55% Pinot Noir (of which 10% is vinified as red wine) and 45% Chardonnay plots, and aged for at least five years in the cellar.
Its soft pink color is of an unparalleled delicacy. This Cuvée D Rosé from DEVAUX is the result of an happy marriage of elegance and freshness, of roundness and vivacity.
The nose is complex and of a beautiful finesse, very elegant, centered on aromas of raspberry, pear and a toasted touch. The attack in mouth is finely creamy, marked by aromas of apricot, orange and liquorice. The finish is frank, sharp, and on a spicy touch.
The House even offers a most elegant champagne/music pairing with Maurice Ravel's " Jeu d'eau" or Francis Poulenc's "Trois mouvements perpétuels pour piano ". A hushed atmosphere for a meal around a fricassee of porcini mushrooms or a lobster à la nage.
