Regarding the Champagne De Saint Gall Orpale Blanc de Blancs 2008 Grand Cru Magnum
Champagne Orpale Blanc de Blancs 2008 Grand Cru in magnum is the Cuvée de Prestige from DE SAINT GALL. Regularly hailed as one of the best Blanc de Blancs champagne, this great 2008 vintage was eagerly awaited!
Indeed, 2008 was an atypical year, characterized by a fresh climat. This cuvée is straighter, taut and chiseled with great aging potential!
This 100% Chardonnay wine is exclusively sourced from Grands Crus located in the terroir of Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize). It has been raised for 12 years in order to reveal its full complexity.
With a light sugar dosage, Cuvée Orpale 2008 is worthy of the greatest chardonnays. A great champagne ! Voluntarily elitist, the « Orpale » signature is affixed only to the greatest vintages.
With this cuvée, the Cellar Master Cédric Jacopin offers us a superb interpretation of this great vintage from which he was able to draw the quintessence.
Orpale 2008 is of a great aromatic intensity, and develops a beautiful freshness, minerality and linearity, while offering evolved notes by the end of the palate.
This cuvée can be enjoyed as itself for the aperitif, or during the meal, with scallops skewer or a creamy chicken breast.
This magnum is sold in its free gift box.
