Regarding the Champagne Chassenay d'Arce Blanc de Blancs 2012
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2012 from the Maison Chassenay d'Arce is a cuvée full of finesse and lightness, with the tonic energy brought by the terroir of the Arce Valley. This 100% Chardonnay champagne from the 2012 harvest, of which 6.4% of the wine is vinified in wood, is at once refined, of great purity and remarkable minerality.
After 8 years of aging on lees, we discover a champagne with fine bubbles, a nose that is both elegant, fresh and greedy. It reveals notes of yellow and white fruits and honey. The mouth is fleshy, generous, fresh, with a nice length.
It is a remarkable vintage 2012, whose ripe, low acid and rather powerful Chardonnay brings thickness to the cuvée.
This Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2012 is a subtle harmony of freshness and elegance. It will accompany you as an aperitif or during a meal as a starter or with fish.
It already expresses all its personality but will continue to improve for several more years...
