Regarding the Champagne Chassenay d'Arce Confidences 2009
The champagne Confidences 2009 is the exceptional vintage of the House Chassenay D'Arce. It is essentially composed of Pinot Noir (92%) completed by 5% of Pinot Blanc and 3% of Chardonnay, of which 8% of the wine is vinified in wood. The grapes come from the oldest vines in the vineyard and this cuvée highlights the perfectionist work of several generations of winemakers on the most beautiful plots of the vineyard.
After 9 years of aging in bottles on the lees, we discover a champagne with fine and light bubbles. The nose is rich, expressive, elegant, complex with aromas of yellow fruits, white fruits and spices. The mouth is fresh, with great finesse and fleshy substance. It is very well balanced with a mineral and structured finish.
The 2009 harvest offered us grapes of a beautiful maturity and an excellent sanitary state, and this champagne is of an intensity and a concentration brought to their highest level.
Quintessence of the House, this cuvée will be perfect for special occasions, as an accompaniment to the most refined dishes.

Champagne Chassenay d'Arce
The Maison Chassenay d'Arce was created in 1956 in Ville-sur-Arce. Today, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, there are 130 families and 3 generations of winegrowers who work in the same spirit of cooperation, solidarity and transmission of knowledge.
The House is committed to a CSR approach and is the first Champagne House to be awarded the Vignerons Engagés label. The vineyard, whose cultivation is reasoned, extends over 315 hectares. The spirit of the House is a family spirit, a spirit of the land and the requirement shared by its winegrowers to produce high quality champagnes, reflecting the specific terroir of the Côte des Bar, with a dominant grape variety: pinot noir.
