Regarding the Champagne Chassenay d'Arce Cuvée Origine Extra Brut
The Champagne Cuvée Origine Extra Brut of the Maison Chassenay D'arce is a 100% Pinot Noir. All the grapes for this cuvée come from organically grown parcels in the heart of the Côte des Bar. This champagne is vinified traditionally but with 23% of the cuvée vinified under wood.
After four years of ageing on lees, and a dosage in extra-brut, we discover a cuvée with fine and lively bubbles. The nose is expressive, powerful, complex and generous offering us aromas of yellow fruits, with some woody and smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is fleshy, round, with a structured and mineral final note.
The Cuvée Origine has a singular identity, both pleasant and consensual.
Perfect as an aperitif, the Cuvée Origine Extra Brut Champagne from Chassenay D'arce will also accompany white meats or noble fishes at the table.
Attention, it is a rare champagne, only 6000 bottles have been produced.
