Concernant le Champagne Bollinger Grande Année Rosé 2012
Grande Année Rosé 2012 is the Cuvée de Prestige from Maison Bollinger, being elaborated from a blend of a subtle red wine combined to a great champagne.
Indeed, this cuvée is composed of 92% Grand Crus and 8% Premiers Crus to which is added 6% of the highest quality red wine sourced from the famous "Côte aux enfants" (unique plot of Pinot Noir Grand Cru from Aÿ).
Grande Année Rosé 2012 is exclusively elaborared from the cuvée, with 67% of Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay, with a cask fermentation only.
BOLLINGER's Cuvée de Prestige is elaborated the greatest years only, and 2012 is simply exceptional, revealing a generous, lively and complex champagne. It spent twice more time in cellar than what is imposed by the Appelation rules.
Grande Année Rosé 2012 offers us a lot of indulgence in the mouth, a nice freshness and a creamy texture prolonged by a racy finish. This cuvée is ideal for the meal, and brillantly accompany a duck filet or guinea fowl.
It is probably one of the most beautiful rosé champagnes in the world.
