Cuvée Version Originale from the House JACQUES SELOSSE is a lightly dosed Grand Cru Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs champagne, which is only produced in very limited quantity.
It is the Version Originale of the terroir that gave birth to it, the Grand Cru Avize, kingdom of Chardonnay. Following a 7-years stay in the cellar, this naturally impressive champagne must be discovered as an aperitif with refined starters.
The richness of the fruit is at the heart of this champagne. The granny apple, tatin, hazelnut and almond paste, but especially the spices (ginger, nutmeg, curry), give a nose of infinite complexity. On the palate, it is powerful and with a beautiful saline and very mineral expression, on a long and delicate finish.
This intense and powerful champagne is aimed to purists. It has a strong personality and is very qualitative.

Champagne Selosse comes from A family-owned company, located in Avize, on a little more than eight hectares of vines. These are vines and wine inspired by permaculture .... Free, and believing that one should not impose oneself on nature!
Anselme and his son Guillaume, produce only 50,000 bottles per year, so these are rare pearls that we offer you here. Wines with a singular, almost artistic interpretation that come from the Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs, and some delicious Pinot Noirs from Aÿ, Ambonnay and Mareuil. They are unfortunately very limited because the demand is very high.
