Regarding the Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Vintage 2012
The Brut Vintage 2012 from Louis Roederer is the perfect product from its terroir, in which finesse, purity, precision, and harmony highlight the qualities of a great vineyard.
Composed of around 70% Pinot noir and 30% Chardonnay, 30% of which is wine matured in oak tuns, the Vintage cuvée is generally matured on lees for 4 years and left for a minimum of 6 months after dégorgement (disgorging) to attain perfect maturity.
The mouth is typical of Louis Roederer's vintages: a large, energetic attack that caresses the palate with a long, lingering finish.
This 2012 vintage is a demonstration of the minerality of the Pinots Noirs, originally from the north of Verzy and Versenay. 2012 vintage offers us a rich, structured and full-bodied champagne : a great vintage !
