Champagne Winston Churchill 2008 from Maison Pol Roger is their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne: robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity!

This cuvée is composed exclusively of grapes sourced from Grands Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir is dominant, and offers the structure, whilst the Chardonnay delivers elegance and fineness.

Bubbles are extremely fine. The ample nose offers white flower and pastry aromas. This elegant and fine cuvée develops then nuts and white currants jelly notes.
On the palate, it is first powerful and balanced, with a touch of citrus freshness (grapefuit). This cuvée reveals a complex range of rich and gourmand flavors, leading to shimmering evocations of pastry notes and vanilla.

Characterized by a very long final, this champagne offers a great aging potential. It combines the extent of the marvelous vintage 2008 to the incomparable style of vintage "Sir Winston Churchill".

Only produced in limited quantity, champagne Winston Churchill 2008 from Pol Roger matured 10 years in the house’s cellars. It is aimed to accompany the greatest celebrations! This cuvée is delicious when served with a poultry or a veal in a creamy morel sauce.
