Cuvée Extra-Brut Essentiel is a numbered cuvée. Why being numbered? Because it is exceptional!
It is elaborated from a majority of Pinots Noirs (50-55%), Meuniers from the Montagne de Reims (30-35%), completed by 15 to 20% of Chardonnay, and then 10 to 20% of reserve wines.
Sourced from a hundred of crus, cuvée Extra-Brut Essentiel is the ultimate expression of Maison PIPER-HEIDSIECK’s Brut cuvée: the champagne spent one more year in the cellar (4 years in total) and the dosage was reduced (6gr/ l) in order to reveal its very own personality.
It is the quintessence of Maison PIPER-HEIDSIECK! This ample wine unveils a great depth and its structure unveiled with a slender appearance. Its fruit is expressed in a direct and natural way. Characterized by fresh white fruits notes, this cuvée wonderfully pairs with oysters or langoustines.
