Cuvée 1522 vintage 2008 from Maison PHILIPPONNAT will delight every amateur of Extra-Brut champagnes. This exceptional cuvée and the 2008 vintage offers a grandiose champagne with a very nice concentration.
It is elaborated with 58% of Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay, partially vinified in wood cask and without malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the champagne’s freshness and to offer more complexity.
Bubbles are fine, the nose is fruity and the palate is creamy and fresh. Being ample and acidulous, this cuvée is marvelous in this extra-brut dosage. 8 years of cellar aging magnified this cuvée while retaining its original freshness.
This champagne is aimed to the greatest occasions and is perfect with seafood, grilled fishes, poultry, tandori chicken and even caviar. Thanks to its great amplitude, it represents the ideal champagne to accompany your meal.
This bottle of champagne 1522 vintage 2008 from Philipponnat is presented in its free gift case. It can be stored in cellar for at least 10 further years !

Champagne Philipponnat
Owner of vineyards since the beginning of the 16th century, the Philipponnat House is located in the heart of the Champagne region in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Since 1910, the family uses the best grapes mainly from grands crus and premiers crus, always harvested more ripe than the Champagne average and the undeniable desire to work as naturally as possible.
Champagne Philipponnat: these are extraordinary vintages, fermented and aged in barrels, which remains exceptional in Champagne. Ancestral know-how that have been passed down from generation to generation.
The Philipponnat house has been awarded a third star by the Guide des meilleurs Vins de France.
