Cuvée Terre d’Illite 2012 from Maison Moussé Fils is a champagne elaborated from 95% Pinot Meunier and 5% Pinot Noir. The name of this cuvée is inspired by the soil on which grows this Meunier.
Fine bubbles, a persistent mousse and aromas of distilled plums and mirabelles are the hallmarks of this champagne. Very round in the mouth, it offers a great length too.
After more than four years in the cellar, the 2012 vintage is a great vintage that you can keep for 6 to 8 more years.
A marvelous Blanc de Noirs champagne to be savoured in good company just for the pleasure of it.

Maison Moussé Fils is a family business founded in 1923, and located in the Marne Valley. The main characteritic of the House is to elaborate its champagne with mainly Meunier grape variety. That’s the signature of Maison Moussé Fils.
The vineyard is naturally managed, in respect of the environment: horse ploughing, wooddiseases treatment with perfusions of essential oils (no chemicals), use plants to protect other plants, water sourced from natural springs. Thus, the terroir is able to express its authenticity and typicity.
