Regarding the Champagne Montaudon Cuvée Grande Rose
The Grande Rose champagne from the Montaudon House is a perfect compromise between power and delicacy. It is a very elegant and feminine champagne rosé presented in a bottle of crystalline purity.
It is made from 35% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, 20% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay.
Its composition is a tribute to the talent of the artists who patiently assembled the colors of the Great Rose of the Cathedral of Rheims, an admirable stained glass window from the 13th century.
This champagne is elaborated with grapes coming from identical plots and sites in order to preserve the typicity of this rosé champagne.
The nose is delicate and reveals notes of licorice and toasted notes. The mouth is crisp and offers us flavors of red berries and spices.
This classy Rosé can be enjoyed from aperitif to dessert (strawberry pie, fresh fruit salads or with fresh goat cheese). On a sunny terrace or in the middle of winter in the mountains; all occasions are good!
