Regarding the Champagne Leclerc Briant Brut Réserve
The Maison Leclerc, created in 1872 by Lucien Leclerc, is historical in Champagne. It is one of the precursors of organic farming in the 1960s and then towards biodynamics in the 1980s. The wines of the House have an undeniable personality, starting with this brut Réserve, made from a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay.
The pretty light straw yellow color of this champagne is animated by a beautiful texture of fine and light bubbles.
On the nose, it evokes smells of green apple, apricot, fresh almond, to evolve on notes of pomegranate, with aniseed accents. On the palate, it is rich and fruity, supported by a tight citrus acidity. The Pinot Noir brings structure and vinosity. The finish is delicate and saline, leaving a lingering sea breeze.
The Brut Réserve is a champagne full of greed, energy and freshness.
To be enjoyed around 10 to 12 °C. The Brut Réserve of the House of Leclerc Briant has a nice mineral and vegetal sensation of intense purity. It is best served as an aperitif or with iodized dishes such as lobster brochettes, salmon, or scallops.

Maison Leclerc Briant is a family business founded in 1872 in Cumières. Bought in 2012 by a couple of passionate Americans, the Maison Leclerc Briant offers us singular and high quality vintages.
Vinified with respect for nature since the 1940s, this 10-hectare estate, essentially Premier Cru, is naturally certified organic and Biodynamic. Pioneer in organic wine making, the House is also a pioneer in parcel selections since the 1980s and offers us champagnes disgorged after a long period of ageing in the cellar and low dosage to let the cuvées express themselves to the maximum.
