Regarding the Champagne Laurent-perrier Ultra Brut
Laurent-Perrier's Ultra Brut Champagne is a pure champagne, with no added sugar. It is composed of a majority of Chardonnay (55%) completed by 45% of Pinot Noir and one or two reserve wines.
A rigorous selection of crus and grape varieties is necessary to keep only those of good maturity and low acidity in order to allow the wine to reach the desired balance without adding sugar.
After a minimum of 6 years of aging, the nose is fresh, intense and complex, with notes of flowers and citrus fruits. On the palate, this champagne is both delicate and airy with a beautiful length and great purity.
This Ultra Brut Champagne from the House of Laurent-Perrier will divinely pair a seafood platter, sushi or a pata negra ham or a young parmesan.
