Regarding the Champagne Larmandier-bernier Vieille Vigne du Levant 2010 Grand Cru Extra-Brut

Champagne Vieille Vigne du Levant 2010 Grand Cru Extra-Brut from Maison LARMANDIER-BERNIER is elaborated from very old Cramant vines, planted on an exceptional terroir which is located in the little village of « Bourron du Levant ». The deep roots and vine’s diversity directly contribute to the complexity of this champagne.

Grown in order to reach a perfect maturity, this single-cru champagne is aged for 7 to 8 years before being manually disgorged 6 months before its released on the market. Very little dosed (2gr/l), this 100% Chardonnay illustrates this 2010 vintage fresh and well balanced.

This champagne is perfect for the aperitif, or with a poultry with mushrooms. It requires a few minutes to unveil its full potential, therefore it must be opened prior to tasting. Should you keep it in your cellar, it will increase its depth.

Champagne Larmandier-bernier

Maison Larmandier Bernier is a young family business founded in 1971. It has been cultivating about 15 hectares of biodynamic vines for more than 20 years.

The domain is located on the famous Côte des Blancs and all the champagnes come from terroirs classified essentially as Grands Crus with 85% of Chardonnay and 15% of Pinot Noir. A natural viticulture which offers us authentic cuvées, with low dosage, of a great intensity.

Champagnes of very high quality that are regularly praised by the Guides. A House to discover without waiting...
