Definitively Sold Out
The champagne Vieille Vigne du Levant 2008 Grand Cru Extra-Brut from LARMANDIER-BERNIER is sourced from very old Cramant vines on an exceptional terroir. This champagne has aged for at least 5 years and is manually disgorged 6 monts before selling it. Very little dosed (2g/l) this Chardonnay is fresh, pure, lively, expressive with bags of fruit and perfectly balanced. Delicious salty minerality and mouth-watering acidity on long, persistent finish.
This Champagne in this fantastic vintage should be enjoyed by itself as an aperitif, or with poultry in a cream sauce. You should take time to allow it to open up, and then you'll be able to appreciate its strength, its complexity and its great length. It should be kept for two years (it will gain in depth) and much longer if it wins you over.
