Champagne Brut R013 from Maison LALLIER is the result of a deep reflection upon one year’s harvest. A large majority of the cuvée R.013 comes from the 2013 vintage (80%), and from reserve wines (20%). It is elaborated from two grappe varieties : Pinot Noir (62%) and chardonnay (38%), offering a large range of appealing aromas thanks to its character and generosity.
The grapes are very qualitative, healthy with great maturity, presaging a beautiful vintage. R.013 is harmonious, structured and very attractive.
The mouth is tasty with a good structure and a nice freshness in order to be balanced and appealing.
As a starter, R.013 will match perfectly with salty amuse-bouches. While dining, it will match perfectly with most of the salty dishes, with a turbot fish with a creamy sauce made with seafood, poultry with morel mushrooms, or a tasty goat cheese.
In order to enhance the end of the meal, it can be offered in association with fine desserts made of white and yellow fruits.

CHAMPAGNE LALLIER In 1996, Champagne René James is born with an optimal production of 200,000 bottles a year. Located in the historic cradle of Great Champagnes, this young house produces exceptional wines exclusively from Grands Crus and Premiers Crus soils. The peculiarity of the House is to use corks and hooks for almost all of their bottles in order to optain a better wine maturation, as the ancients did.
