Regarding the Champagne Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut Nature
Cuvée Royale Brut Nature from Maison Joseph Perrier is elaborated from a blend composed of 35% Pinot Noir, 35% chardonnay and 30% Meunier, and exclusively sourced from Premiers and Grands Crus terroirs.
The name « Cuvée Royale » has been granted by the Queen Victoria in the 19th century. Nowadays, this name is perpetuated by the champagne House which is located in Châlon-en-Champagne.
The nose unveils delicate aromas of rose and peony, verbena and acacia, followed by intense spicy notes. The palate is lively and develops aromas of apple, pear and then candied citrus and fresh hay. The final offers brioche and vanilla touches.
This pure champagne is of a great freshness and is perfect for the aperitif as well as during the meal, with raw fishes in olive oil or shellfish. For a perfect tasting, it is recommended to cool it in an ice bucket for 20 minutes.
