Made around the 2012 harvest, this champagne Gold Top 2012 from Maison Heidsieck Monopole is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Meunier.
A pretty golden yellow color with brilliant reflections, gives it all its shine and a delicate bubble bead. The aromas are powerful with notes of ripe fruit, roasted coffee and hazelnuts.
We discover a powerful and complex wine. Immediately, on the palate, it reveals character and strength. Full on the palate with aromas of candied fruit, almonds and honey. The balance of this cuvée is maintained thanks to a fine acidity.
Harmonious, this cuvée can accompany every moment of the meal and will be ideal with shellfish, a seafood platter, a fricassee of porcini mushrooms or a confit shoulder of lamb.
