Femme de Champagne Rosé de Saignée 2006 is the symbol of Maison Duval-Leroy’s know-how, and exclusively elaborated when the vintage is exceptionnal.
This beautiful cuvée was created by two women : Carol Duval-Leroy, the only woman nominated as President of the Champagne vineyard Association, and Sandrine Logette-Jardin, Cellar Master at Duval-Leroy.
They gave birth to this great Pinot Noir, which unveils brigth and pink gold reflections. These are the natural pigments contained in the skin of the grapes, selected from the best plots, which color the juice and enrich the wine with unforgettable wild red fruits aromas.
Once raised in cellar, the Rosé de Saignée offers fine bubbles and a surprising freshness, perfect during the meal, a stylish picnic or a successful aperitif.
On the palate, this cuvée develops complex and mature notes, and a subtle sugar touch from wild red fruits. A fruity, mineral and smoked structure.
The bottle and its charming curves preserve the harmony of this delicate and refined cuvée : Femme de Champagne Rosé de saignée 2006.

CHAMPAGNE DUVAL LEROY Champagne DUVAL-LEROY was founded in 1859 when two Champagne families came together to share their interests. Since its creation, Champagne DUVAL-LEROY has been located in Vertus, in the heart of “La Cote des Blancs”. Currently the House cultivates about 200 hectares, much of which is devoted to production of high quality Chardonnay grapes. The predominance of Chardonnay in the elaboration of the cuvees gives a finesse, lightness and elegance to DUVAL-LEROY champagnes. Headed by Carol DUVAL-LEROY since 1991, the company is one of the few remaining 100% family-owned Champagne firms and is ranked in the top 15 champagne houses.
