Regarding the Champagne Drappier Grande Sendrée 2008 Magnum
This is the Cuvée de Prestige of DRAPPIER in a fantastic vintage : 2008 sold here in magnum. The Grande Sendrée cuvée takes its name from a parcel of land covered in cinders (cendrée) after the fire which ravaged Urvil le in 1838.
The nice bottle is a reproduction of a 13th century bottle discovered in the Urville cellars. This champagne is characterized by its great fineness and powerful aromas.
The Grande Sendrée 2008 in magnum is produced in very limited quantities. The oldest vines from the best parcels are harvested with particular care. This Grande Sendrée 2008 has a great aging potential.
It's sold in its very elegant wooden box.

This family business prefers authenticity and uses very little sulfur. It has also created a sulphur-free cuvée: the Cuvée Brut Nature without sulphite.
The strong presence of Pinot Noir gives birth to powerful, vinous champagnes that seduced General De Gaulle in 1965. To pay tribute to him, Drappier has dedicated the Cuvée Charles De Gaulle to him. It is also the only House to offer for sale all sizes of champagne bottles: from the quarter bottle to the Melchisedec (30 liters)!
