Cuvée Demi-Sec from the prestigious Maison Billecart-Salmon founded in 1818, offers a higher sugar dosage (40g/l) than a brut, while being still very fine and elegant.
This energetic Demi-Sec champagne develops a perfect balance between sugar, alcohol and acidity. It offers a sweet and gourmand side evolving towards butter and brioche notes, with a hint of while flowers aromas. This little jewel has been raised for 30 months on lees, then in the cellar.
The pastry chef Gilles Marchal recommends to enjoy this champagne with sweet desserts such as strasberry tart, or a chocolate cake ! Champagne Demi-Sec Billecart-Salmon must be enjoyed at a temperature of 8°C.
