Regarding the Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut 2015
Crafted in small quantities and stored in the cellars of Maison Alfred Gratien for a decade, the Brut 2015 is a champagne that is both surprising and fabulous. 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier make up this incredibly complex cuvée.
As for all the other cuvées of the House, it is produced in the respect of the traditions, with a rigorous selection of the grapes, a voluntary limitation of the volumes, and no malolactic fermentation to preserve the nature of the grape and the personality of the soil.
The nose initially reveals aromas of yellow fruits, toasted almonds, then spices and honey. It takes full advantage of the time spent in the cellar, in small oak barrels of 228 liters, to offer a beautiful aromatic complexity. The mouth is vinous, creamy and harmonious. The finish is very long and ends on a tangy note.
Viney, voluminous and complex, this is how to describe this Brut 2015 from Alfred Gratien.
A Champagne to be decanted and to be appreciated with noble dishes such as a sea bass or simply, a veal fillet.
It is housed in its free gift box.
