Regarding the Champagne Alfred Gratien Blanc de Blancs 2015
The Blanc de Blancs vintage 2015, from the House of Alfred Gratien, is made from Chardonnay from the majority of the terroirs classified as Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs.
A champagne with a pretty yellow color and abundant and lively bubbles. The first nose is clear, on lemongrass and almond. When aired, it is the spoon cookie, the pear, the verbena and the yellow flowers which bloom. The mouth is chiseled, ample, greedy on subtle aromas of butter. The texture is silky. The finish is long, very soft and opens on a saline minerality.
At the table, the agreement is made with the rich dishes, of beautiful consistency and tasty to accompany the vinosity and the minerality of the wine. Ideal with freshly shucked oysters, foie gras, or simply enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
A generous champagne with great aromatic richness. This beautiful Vintage 2015 offers a wine of a very nice quality with real potential for aging.
