Concernant le Champagne Alfred Gratien Blanc de Blancs 2015
The 2015 vintage Blanc de Blancs, from Maison Alfred Gratien, is made from Chardonnay coming mainly from terroirs classified as Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs.
A champagne with a pretty yellow color with abundant and lively bubbles. The first nose is clean, on lemongrass and almond. When aired, it is the spoon cookie, pear, verbena and yellow flowers that bloom. The palate is chiseled, full-bodied, gourmet with subtle buttery aromas. The texture is silky. The finish is long, very smooth and opens with saline minerality.
At the table, it goes well with rich dishes, with good consistency and flavor to accompany the vinosity and minerality of the wine. Ideal with freshly shucked oysters, foie gras, or simply enjoyed plain as an aperitif.
A generous champagne with great aromatic richness. This beautiful 2015 vintage offers a wine of very good quality with real aging potential.
