Regarding the Champagne Agrapart Magnum minéral 2014 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
This 2014 “Mineral” cuvée from the Champagne House Agrapart is an Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs produced exclusively from two very limestone plots, Champboutons in Avize and Bionnes in Cramant. These two plots are classified Grand Cru and are located on the House's own vineyard, planted over 50 years ago.
The wine is aged on lees between 6 and 7 years in bottles whose riddling is still carried out manually. On the nose, the notes of liquorice, flowers, wet pebbles and chalk are very expressive and deep. Precise, tasty and saline, the "Mineral" 2014 cuvée offers us the chalky identity of its terroir on the palate. It is a champagne with clean and frank minerality. The flavors are persistent, and end with light notes of bitterness. The texture and the finish are incredibly dense.
A champagne of wonderful finesse to be enjoyed with grilled fish (sea bass, sole, turbot, etc.), seafood, or a sea urchin salad with citrus fruits.
It's sold here in magnum.
